Cougars are generally women in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s are confident, successful, beautiful women who prefer the company and dating partners that are younger than they are. These women are looking for fun and romance, much like men have done for so many years. In today’s society though, women dating younger men, or cougars, are no longer a society taboo.

With the amount of baby boomers becoming more healthy and looking younger well beyond what their age is telling them. The activity of women dating younger men is starting become more and more of a dating option for women in their 40’s,50’s and even 60’s.

Back in the day’s when society suggested that women should only be heard but not seen, had many baby boomer women “stunting” their growth romatically and mentally as a person. Usually once they’ve “figured” out what they want, they were labeled as being too old.

These women were the mother’s and provider’s of their families, cared for the children, and took more abuse from their spouses because society had them pegged as “lesser” of a person.

Today, those women are fed up and tired of what the old society said. They’ve rejuvenated today’s world with top entertainers, television and movie stars, politicians and people of power. Combine this total gender movement, along with the fact that these women are smarter and taking better themselves now than ever, creates the perfect candidate for becoming a cougar!

Cougars are confident, successful and strong women no longer hiding in the dark and saying what they feel. They have missed out on their fun because they either married young, or had children young so they may be socially still in their youthful years. These women may be in the 40’s or 50’s, but their youth makes them feel comfortable dating younger men because they feel young.

All in all, we are in a society today that is more accepting of the Cougar Dating phenomenon. Not only that, but more women are standing up and saying “if men can do it, why can’t we”. Men aren’t the only one’s that want to have fun and feel young again!
