Even though the Algarve, Portugal is a favorite destination with tourists from around Europe the actual area has not been spoiled in the same ways as those tourists spots in Spain have been. Even today you will find plenty of good quality Algarve holiday villas to rent which are to be found in some of the most beautiful and unspoilt locations possible.

The reason for the Algarve being as popular as a holiday destination is that it has over 100 miles of beautiful beaches. Plus through out the year it expends at least 3,000 hours of sunshine. Also, here, the food is plentiful and most if it is grown or fished locally.

Along with thinking about what it is going to be costing you to rent the villa, you also need to take into consideration some other costs as well. You need to think about the cost of getting flights, hiring a car and also what money you will need for buying food including when you choose to eat at restaurant as well as that you will buy in the supermarkets.

As you will soon discover when it comes to what kind of villa it is you are going to rent there are a number of different types that you can select from. Some will be offering you the kind of luxury that you only thought that the rich and famous could afford, whilst there will be others that will be much more affordable and will not break the bank. When it comes to renting a villa in the Algarve on average you could expect to have to spend around 320 ($640) a week to as much as 570 ($1,140) a week for one. However, what you actually pay for one will largely depend on the size and quality of the villa and at which time of the year you are going to be renting. You will find that if you choose to rent a villa during June, July and August, which is high season then you, are going to have to pay more than if you rented one in March or September that are considered to be part of the low season.

Also, how much you pay for your villa will depend on what amenities and facilities are offered with it. For example if you choose to rent a villa that comes with maid service and its own private swimming pool, this will cost far more than one that did not.

One thing that you will notice when it comes to renting a villa in the Algarve is that they have everything one could need whilst away from home. All you really need to bring with you is a suitcase with your holiday clothes in and of course yourselves. Plus the majority of villas also have satellite TV installed so you have the opportunity in the evenings to let the kids chill out before they go to bed, especially after a full days activities.

When it comes to deciding what size villa it is you would like to rent, you need to think about the number of people that will actually be staying in the accommodation. Therefore, you need to rent a villa, which is actually going to be comfortable for everybody to stay in. But as you will soon discover when you divide the cost of the villa rental by the number of people staying in it, the price per person is much more reasonable than if you were all staying in a hotel.
