There are a lot of great sandwiches to be had in New York City. A lot of people love the traditional New York style delis, like Katz’s and Carnegie Deli. While they have great sandwiches, I find the amount of meat on them impractical and not something I actually want to eat often.
Here is a look at some of the better sandwiches New York has to offer.
The Torta - A Mexican style sandwich usually consisting of a meat (chicken or beef) stuffed with lettuce, avocado, cheese, black beans and mayo. One of the best ones in the city can be had at Puebla in the East Village for $6.
