North Cyprus property - An Investment Dream Come True

There is an ever-growing tendency in Europe, particularly among the British, to orientate their investments and their holiday plans towards the beautiful North of Cyprus. This tendency is explained by the numerous advantages that this country provides both for its tourists and for its business owners and investors.
This territory of northern Cyprus is made up of numerous features that are taken from all parts of the country, starting with exotic elements and customs and continuing with the continental characteristics of the country. Hence, we may consider that the colorful and original image of North Cyprus is one of the results of the fusion between all the other features by which this country is characterized.
There are numerous reasons for which people choose to invest in real estate in North Cyprus. This area is popular for its uniqueness and especially for its mixture of features. This mixture comes from the varied elements of tradition and culture that are typical to all regions in Cyprus. This mixture of characteristics is very marked, as many investors and tourists feel attracted by this very amalgam of features that are special to this exotic country.
These include elements like the exotic weather, the warm climate, the continental climatic features, the traditions, the culture, the history, all fused together in a subtle manner so as to create a special, unique place. These facts are very important, especially since they constitute the very important reasons for which many people choose North Cyprus as their favorite travel destination.
In fact investing in North Cyprus is usually done for one of two main reasons. The first is that of capitalizing upon the success of tourism in this country and another is related to the personal dreams that people want to fulfill and buy their own properties in this wonderful territory. This personal dream is very much related to the desire that many people have of having their own private place to stay in an exotic country such as Cyprus. This has become a very popular tendency, a dream of having their own place in a romantic, idyllic atmosphere.
The spectacular ruins of Famagusta provide a fascinating insight into the past and include a magnificent amphitheatre, Roman baths, and royal tombs. Inland a little from Famagusta are the church and monastery of St Barnabas, founder of the apostolic church in in 45 AD. Barnabas, who hailed from Salamis visited Cyprus in the company of Saints Paul and Mark. The church remains to this day and houses a magnificent collection of 18th century icons.
And now on to Kyrenia whose horseshoe-shaped harbour is the main attraction of the town, with its colourful fishing boats, yachts and lively tavernas serving both locals and tourists. Kyrenia Castle, at one end of the harbour, was built in the 7th century by the Byzantines to protect the city from Arab raiders. Now a host to theatrical events and music, the castle is also the appropriate location of the Shipwreck museum, in which which one can discover the oldest shipwreck ever discovered, dating from from 300 BC.
The real estate market has also become very much in vogue, to such an extent that it has now become one of the most highly developed branches of the local economy. Real estate investment in North Cyprus must now be considered to be one of the continuously growing and developing features of this wonderful exotic country.
