There are hundreds of holiday villas in France, which one can select from to stay in when visiting this part of Europe. Certainly, because this country has so much to offer from great foods and wine through to the country itself, you may well find that you have to book vacations here several times to really get a taste of it all.

Today one can choose between villas located on the French Riviera to those located in land in some of the most beautiful scenery that you are ever likely to find. In this article, we look at the locations where villas are now available to rent in France.

1. French Riviera - This is a part of France, which is where many of the rich and famous from around the world like to visit. Certainly when the Cannes Film Festival takes place, they all descend upon the area and so the chances of you spotting your favorite are greatly enhanced. Many of the villas are situated on hillsides with views that look down towards the sea. Yet although they offer their guests privacy and tranquility they are only a short distance from all the amenities that one could want whilst on holiday, beaches, cafes and not forgetting the shops.

2. Provence - This part of France is where you have the chance of trying to live the French dream. This area offers you the chance to relax and unwind and forget about the pressures of modern day living. However, be warned you may go back a few pounds heavier because this region offers some really fantastic tasting food for you to try.

3. Loire Valley - This is a region of France where you will some of the best wines are produced and so you may find yourself spoilt for choice as to what to drink with your meals. The villas here offer you all modern amenities but many still retain a lot of the charm of older properties as well. For a little more activity during your stay why not explore some of the regions beautiful old gothic towns or why not hire a bike and spend time enjoying the scenery as you cycle down a few of the areas quiet country lanes.

4. Normandy - This is a region of France, which has led a somewhat turbulent past and yet is ideal for those who are looking to relax and unwind. There is plenty for one to do and see here from visiting the beaches where the D-Day Landings during World War II took place, or just spend time wandering around some of the regions beautiful towns or villages. If you can try a few the regions local delicacies.

Once you have decided which part of France it is you would like to visit you now need to start arranging your accommodation. It is a good idea to spend some time comparing the various sites that now offer villas in the region that you are interested in before you actually make your booking.

When you are ready to book any of the holiday villas in France that you are interested in and would like to save money then try to book well in advance of your vacation dates. Sometimes just by booking a few months prior to your holiday could end up saving you quite a considerable sum on the cost of the rental. Also, if you are able to be a bit more flexible when you take your vacation and can go out of season this could also save you money as well.
