Orlando wouldn’t be Orlando without its famous theme park attraction, Disney World. Amazing how each and every person in the world regardless of age knows Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Disney characters. Walt Disney has touched the hearts of many people all around the world and an Orlando vacation would be incomplete without visiting Disney World which covers an immense area of over 30,000 acres.
If you’re the type who loves adrenaline rushes, Big Thrills is your ticket to all the action packed rides. You can also get yourself spooked down a 13-story elevator in “The Twillight Zone Tower of Terror”, do corkscrews with Aerosmith on “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster”, get face to face with an oversized lizard at “Dinosaur”, slide down Mount Gushmore at “Slush Gusher”, or race down a mountain on “Downhill Double Dipper”.
Space buffs, for example, can enjoy the space-themed rides of “Space Mountain”. You can also bering your whole family to outer space with the fun and engrossing “Mission: Space”. Let loose the mountaineering side of you by racing down mountains at “Downhill Double Dipper” or face gigantic dinosaurs just like the movies in “Dinosaurs”. Even Aerosmith fans have a cause to celebrate as they can rock on with them in “Rock n’ Roller Coaster”.
You and your family can go conquer outer space in the “Space Mountain” and “Mission: Space” rides or probably smoke the asphalt hot with the speedy “Test Track”. Those with brave hearts can try their hand in the 13-story elevator ride called “The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror”.
Live performances are also available for those who want to meet their favorite Disney characters in the flesh. “Finding Nemo: The Musical”, “Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade”, and “Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage” are all wonderful shows that will surely bring back your fondest Disney memories. Even the teens of today can sing along with the “High School Musical Pep Rally”, which is a based off the popular TV show.
All of this is wonderfully ended with a brilliant and dazzling fireworks display at the end of the day. Whether you’re a kid or just young at heart (or even if you’re not), you owe it to yourself to visit one of Earth’s most magical, and enjoyable, places.
