The majority of people really love their pets, to the point where they become part of the family. Some pet owners cannot bear to be parted from their pets for more than a day or so and for these people, going on holiday can be a problem, because they do not want to leave their friends behind. If you are only going for a few days, say on business, finding a hotel near to the location of your appointment should not be too much of a problem, unless you want to stay at one of the big names in the city centre. It is often the smaller, family-run hotels or guest houses that allow pets, although some require you to keep your dog in a kennel on the premises overnight. larger hotels tend not to be very pet-friendly.
