What You Need To Know Before You Go

For folks like you and me, it would never occur to us that we might, when we hit the road, lay our heads down in a five-star hotel. When we make the decision about the details of a sojourn, we fall back to what we learned early on: when you travel, entertain yourselves, and do it cheaply. Vacationing for us means sightseeing, hiking, and, if we get desperate, see what movies are playing in the area; nothing that’s going to either wow us or break us. Staying in budgeting lodging means that we won’t be thinking room service (especially on a business trip), even though as kids, we loved such hotel amenities as the swimming pool.
