If you are traveling with the wife or husband, a nice hotel room is a great idea. If you are traveling with the whole family in tow, Orlando vacation rentals are the best idea. They are great for large groups or small families, have all the creature comforts of home, and often include certain perks that other vacation spots and hotels or motels might not offer.

When it comes to containing costs, it’s always better to rent out a vacation home than make hotel reservations for your entire family, only to stay amidst the maddening crowd of other vacation seekers. If you’re planning a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, then renting a vacation home is probably your best option - especially if you’re looking to save some money.

Alamo Car Rental is a popular car rental company based in the U.S. The name would suggest that it started long ago in Texas but that’s not the case. Alamo got its start in the mid 70s with all of the company’s locations in Florida. Alamo Car Rental has revolutionized the car rental industry. Here is an overview of the company and why it has become so popular.

Alamo Car Rental started off fairly small and faced the competition of many established car rental companies. The company was the first rental agency to focus on vacationers and not the business travel market. Before its start, most renters were business people and most families flew to their destination or drove their family car. Alamo promoted car rental as an alternative to the high cost of flying or putting wear on the family car.

To really get a taste of a place, you need to go local. Checking out the tourist traps does not give you much of an authentic experience. In Paris, this means checking out the various little enclaves throughout the city.

As an amazing contrast to the area beneath it, the white Sacre Coeur Basilica sits atop Montmartre as a cherry sits upon a sinfully delicious dessert. Home to everything that has stereotyped Paris over the years, this section of the city is not to be skipped over.

While most tourists can do without seeing the Eiffel Tower (and paying to visit each level) missing Montmartre would be a lot like missing the Coliseum when visiting Rome. One last windmill left upon the infamous hill seems to tell of a time long past while hinting at the beginnings of a new future.
