The thing about ecotourism policies is that while there is a main ecotourism policy, there are also various other different ones, all of which have to do with the specific organization promoting ecotourism in a specific area. Whether is the melting glaciers in Alaska or the temperatures of Alicante, Spain, the environment is important. However, the main ecotourism policy is promoting awareness of the environment through allowing tourists to get up-close to nature.
